Obituary of Jeffery Brian Young

Jeff Young (68) died peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022 surrounded by his wife and sons.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 37 years, Leslie and his sons, Dennis (wife, Sory) and Neal. Along with granddaughter, Zoey. Also survived by his sister, Nancy Norris, niece Nikki and her family.

Jeff’s career was in auto sales. He enjoyed playing golf at Columbia Edgewater in his younger years but had to give it up due to medical issues. After retirement, Jeff enjoyed having lunch with his car buddies and spending time with family.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents, Gordon Young (Yakima) and Nancy VanCleave (San Diego) along with two brothers who died as infants, Randall and Brad.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to either Together We Rise (helping children in foster care) or Easterseals Oregon.

We are looking at having a Celebration of Life and currently are planning to have it on or near his birthday which is April 27th. We would greatly appreciate family and friends to provide a positive remembrance of Jeff at this celebration.
