I was an illustrator/cartoonist at The Shreveport Times when Diana came there on two consecutive summers as a college photo intern. She has dozens of news photos that are archived in the Times' files from those summers. We became friends and I first heard about Dr. Who from her as she was a huge fan of the original British series. We lost touch after that but became Facebook friends only a few years ago and, being a cyclist myself, it was great to hear that she had gotten into the sport, too. She was a very outgoing and lovely person, and she will be missed. I've heard the roads (smooth and gravel) and trails in Heaven are perfect, Diana, so go ride them all.
