Obituary of Timothy Paul Fry

Timothy Paul Fry, 64, passed away on May 12, 2023, after a long-term illness.

 

Tim was the fifth born to Herbert G. and Anna Inez Fry on December 17, 1958, in Los Angeles, California. It was a large family with six children, four daughters, and two sons. The family left California in 1962 for Missouri. After a 5-year residency in Kansas City, relocated to beautiful Oregon in 1967.

 

Tim attended Abernathy Grade School and Cleveland High School and spent time in the Army before marrying his wife, Anita Milkovich, on November 15, 1986.

 

Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and lifelong friends and loved fishing and water sports anytime he had the opportunity. Tim also coached Little League when his sons were younger. His passion and career were carpentry and remodeling and was highly creative in finding solutions to problems. Friends called Tim the Tool Man, or the Fix-it Man, and he was seldom seen without a tool in his hand. He never hesitated to jump in when someone needed his help and was considered the go-to person by many, and a father figure by some.

 

Tim was predeceased by his wife, Anita, in 1999, and his sister Gretchen Karman of Missouri last July. He is survived by sons; Eric Allen and Gregory Michael; daughter Deca Marie Fry-Collins; 3 granddaughters Cassidy Anne, Karissa Grace, and Kate Elizabeth; sisters Joyce Points of Idaho, Kathy Clark of Estacada, Jeanelle Hans of Vancouver, and his brother David of Vancouver.

 

Tim will be missed by his family and many lifelong friends.
