Obituary of Jill Smith

Jill was born in Nyssa, OR to Rocky and Wilma Hoffman. She was the 2nd of 8 kids: 1 brother and 6 sisters. After obtaining her GED, Jill went back to school and earned her LPN license and spent the rest of her career helping people as a nurse and caregiver. Her favorite was working nights with her skilled nursing patients, which she did the last 11 years of her career before retiring and moving home to Oregon. Above all else Jill loved her family. She married the love of her life, Edgar Smith in 1996.

She is survived by: her husband, Edgar Smith; her daughter Lisa Bradford-Glenn; grandchildren Robert Wade and wife Shaela, Colton, Marti Ann and husband Tim, Shawna McCullough and husband Bruce, Robert Glenn, Tori, Tierra, Zach, Jayden, Teegan and Seth; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Donna and husband Ronnie, Bobbie and husband Eldon, Pam and husband Lee, Mary Ann, and Wanda; and 1 brother Roy Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her son Michael; sister Terri; and son-in-law Jerry.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jill on 8/19/2023 at River Rock Foursquare Church Community Center from 2-4pm. River Rock Foursquare Church Community Center 32328 S.
