Obituary of Nancy Jean Lewis

 

Nancy Lewis was born February 28, 1939 at Fort Vancouver, Washington to Charles and Victoria Knapp.  

Nancy resided at Countryside Living in Canby, Oregon. She passed on September 4, 2023 at Sunnyside Kaiser Hospital. 

Nancy served in the US Army, worked as a substitute teacher, worked at a daycare, factory, and apple tree farm. Nancy was very artistic. Her passion was to draw and write. She wrote and produced a mystical children's musical in Portland, The Enchanted Rock. She wrote and published several books, including Bless the Dogs. 

Nancy had two sisters Theresa and Helen. She leaves behind three daughters Julie, Kathy, and Liz. Seven grandchildren Kayla, Cassandra, Ainsley, Matthew, AJ, Leland, and Jessica. Six great-grandchildren Vincent, Aeden, Evelynn, Cozette, Marcus, and Monte. And two son in laws Charles and Mike. 

Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She shined bright and warmed those around her.
