Obituary of Jimmy Counts

Jimmy was born in San Francisco, CA on March 3rd, 1945.  He was the eldest of six siblings, and they were raised in San Francisco. 

Jim served in the army and was honorably discharged.  In 1959 Jimmy moved to Redding, CA where he married and had two children. 

In 1977 Jim moved to Portland, OR where he got sober on September 15th, 1982. 

Jim was 78 years old, and six days shy of his 41st A.A. Birthday, when he passed. 

He had a passion for car racing and he loved to paint.  Jim was a role model of acceptance, gratitude, serenity, and grace.  He was loved, and will be missed, by many.
