Obituary of Joe Young

In Loving Remembrance of Joe Young formerly known as Gail.
February 4th, 1949 - September 28th, 2023

Joe enjoyed singing, watching old westerns movies, boxing, playing Xbox and dogs.  Dogs were always a great companion to Joe.

Joe had passion for entertaining people with his voice and old stories he would tell about back in the days.

Joe leaves behind an amazing big family that he was ever so proud of and bragged about often.

Joe was a parent to 3 children who loved him a great deal. His son, Douglas Young Belicek and his husband David, daughter, Crystal Young and her partner William Quince and youngest daughter, Jennifer Young, who was taken from us too soon.
Joe has now been reunited with his daughter, Jennifer, his wife, Marge and his son-in-law, James, in Heaven.

Joe loved being a grandparent, he was know affectionately as Papa Joe by his grandchildren.  He had 9 grandchildren, Shionna Pernal and her husband Dabbor, James Mark Jr., Jerrell Files, Cyre Files, Christopher Files and his wife Scotisha, Chalyse Henderson and her husband Randall, Ciara Caldwell, Davion Young and Kenneth Young.

Joe’s greatest pride was the 26 great grandchildren his grandchildren gave him.  They will also miss him very much.

Joe left a lasting impression on everyone he met and knew.  His absences will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Joe will be greatly, greatly missed
