Obituary of Richard James Monson

Richard James Monson-age 64 of Salem, OR passed away on November 13th 2023.

He was the son of late Judy and Keith Monson.  He is survived by his loving ex-wife and best friend Jennifer Bray Monson and his two brothers Daniel Monson and Jeffrey Monson.

Rick was a loving father and grandfather, skilled mechanic and a gold mining enthusiast.  His heart of gold, ability to forgive and stubborness was passed down to his five daughters: Diane Monson, Nichole Monson, Charissa Primm, Rachel Williamson, Stephanie Monson, 9 grandchildren: Karly, Brayden, Molly, Kaylee, Kasidie, Jazzmyn, Camdin, Lydia, Silas: 4 great-grandchildren; Karter, Aidyn, Maylie, Naomi.

He was very well loved and taken care of by his angel caregivers at Sweet Bye and Bye in the last few years of his life.  He was known to them for his kind-hearted nature and gratefulness for their amazing care.

Now, at rest with his parents, he will be greatly missed.
